Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. To avoid misunderstandings, we ask you to read the following statement carefully.

By using Zappter, you accept and agree to the statement.

1. Purpose of the Privacy Policy

1.1 General

The operator of the Zappter Platform is Zappter AG in Zurich (hereinafter referred to as "Provider"). Data protection is important to the Provider. Provider adheres to the applicable data protection regulations and rules.

1.2 Purpose

This Privacy Policy explains how providers handle personal data and in particular which personal data of the user of the Zappter Platform (hereinafter referred to as "User") is processed by providers and for what purposes this data is processed. It also describes how collected personal data can be checked, corrected or deleted.

1.3 Scope

This data protection declaration does not extend to any external links that lead to offers from third parties. The data protection provisions of the respective provider apply to these offers.

1.4 Terms and Conditions

This privacy statement is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions AGB of Provider.

1.5 Adjustment of the data security explanation

Provider reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time within the scope of legal requirements.

1.6 Call the privacy policy

The user can access, download, save or print this privacy statement at any time.

2. Personal data

Provider respects the privacy of the user and will not collect any personal data (such as name, address, e-mail address), unless they are:
- provided voluntarily by the user (in particular [first name, last name, address, mobile number, email address or VAT number]);
- or automatically collected by cookies.

3. Use of personal data

3.1 General

Data transmitted by the User to Provider may be used by Provider as follows:

- For the creation of a user account and for the other fulfillment of contractual obligations;
- marketing purposes, in particular to better understand users' needs and to improve providers' services;
- To do business with the user. For this purpose, Provider may also send the data transmitted to it by the User to sales and cooperation partners of Provider at home and abroad. Other persons are not informed of the personal data.

3.2 Access

Access to personal data shall be limited to those employees and sales and cooperation partners who need to know such data. The persons and companies concerned are obliged to secrecy and to comply with the applicable data protection laws. Under no circumstances will Provider sell personal data to third parties or market it in any other way.

4. Cookies

4.1 General

When the User visits the Zappter Platform, information may be automatically stored on the User's computer. This happens in the form of so-called "cookies" or a similar file that helps providers in various ways, for example, to know the preferences of visitors to the Zappter Platform and to improve the Zappter Platform.

4.2 Deleting Cookies

Most browsers allow you to delete cookies, prevent their installation or generate a warning before a cookie is installed. Further information can be found in the browser instructions.

4.3 Usage

Provider will use automatically stored information exclusively for statistical purposes.

5. Web analysis services

5.1 General

Provider uses third-party web analytics services to evaluate the use of the Website, to which personal data may also be transferred in the course of using these services. Then providers use social plug-ins from various providers on the website ([examples: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn]). This may be accompanied by data collection from the providers concerned.

5.2 Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. "("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on the user's computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating users' use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Under no circumstances will Google associate the IP address of the user with other Google data. Users may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on their browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of the provider platform. By using the provider platform, users consent to the processing of data about them by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

5.3 Facebook

Facebook is a social network of the American company Facebook, Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). Twitter is a microblogging service of the American company Twitter, Inc. (795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107). Google+ is a social network of Google. LinkedIn is a social network of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When visitors call up the Provider.ch website, their browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the aforementioned providers and loads the respective button from there. The information is transmitted to the respective provider that the corresponding website has been accessed. If the visitor is a registered user of the relevant service and the provider can also assign the page request to the corresponding profile and possibly collect further data. 6. Security measures

6.1 General

Provider shall take security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information and personal data.

6.2 Transmission and backup

The User is aware that transmissions over the Internet are not secure. As soon as Provider has received the transmitted information, it shall secure it appropriately in its systems.

7. Rights of the user

The User may at any time request that Provider provide him with a copy of the personal data concerning him or provide him with information about its use. Furthermore, Provider will correct or delete this data at any time at the request of the User. The User shall contact the competent authority for this purpose as follows:

Provider is obliged to verify the identity of the user for such requests. Requests can therefore only be processed if a suitable proof of identity (copy of identity card or copy of an invoice for water, electricity, rent or similar) is attached.
